Why this approach

Plain advice, not a hard sell.

Most small businesses do better with one strong page than a larger site that goes stale. Start there. Add pages later if the numbers justify it.

Sites are built on Astro + Cloudflare: fast to load, secure by default, and near-zero hosting cost — with no WordPress plugins to patch.

AI visibility is a core priority: structured data, a clear llms.txt, and plain answers on the page so you show up in Google and in AI assistants.

You own your domain and your site. Domain renewals are included in care plans. A real person usually replies the same day; urgent outages are handled out of hours.

Colin has been helping businesses with technology since the 1980s. He founded Veritas Computers in 1986, ran the ISP and web host OZ On Line in the 1990s, and has run Service Broker since 2007. Along the way he picked up what Liam Neeson might call a very particular set of skills: finding where a business is overpaying for tech, phones, internet, software subscriptions and cloud services, and cutting those costs.

There are two ways to pay: $120 an hour or, if you prefer, a share of the savings found in the first year, agreed up front. You pay your providers directly, and Service Broker takes no margin on their services.
